Flicks – Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to the Flicks mobile application (the "App") created by Irina Ovis (the "Service Provider"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms, all applicable laws and regulations, and you are responsible for compliance with any local laws. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, you are prohibited from using the App.
1. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the App for personal, non-commercial, transitory use only. This is a license, not a transfer of title. Under this license, you may not:
- Modify or copy the App;
- Use the App for any commercial purpose or public display;
- Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract the source code;
- Remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices;
- Transfer or "mirror" the App on any other server.
This license automatically terminates if you violate these restrictions and may be terminated by the Service Provider at any time. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the App from your device.
2. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is." The Service Provider makes no warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The Service Provider does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or results of the App and is not responsible for any errors or omissions.
3. Limitations of Liability
The Service Provider shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App, including loss of data, profits, or business interruptions, even if the Service Provider has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations of liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.
4. Accuracy of Materials
The App may contain technical, typographical, or other errors. The Service Provider does not warrant that the materials or features are accurate, complete, or current. Updates may occur without notice, and the Service Provider is not obligated to update the App.
5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The App offers paid subscriptions called "Flicks Unlimited" which include additional features.
- Free Trial: New users may receive a 1-week free trial of Flicks Unlimited.
- Subscription Cost: After the trial, the subscription costs may vary by country. The current weekly price will be displayed in the App at the time of purchase.
- Payment: Payment is charged via your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is disabled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Renewal charges will be applied within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Management: You may manage your subscription or disable auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation during an active subscription period is not allowed.
- Free Trial Forfeiture: Unused portions of the free trial are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

6. Account Deletion
Users can delete their account directly through the App. Upon deletion:
- All personal information (including name, email, age, and usage data) will be permanently removed;
- Flicks Unlimited subscription and associated data will be canceled;

7. Third-Party Services
The App may utilize third-party services, including:
- AdMob
- RevenueCat
- Firebase
The Service Provider is not responsible for third-party service terms, privacy practices, or reliability.
8. Modifications
The Service Provider may revise these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Users are advised to review this page regularly.
9. General Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and access to the App.
- The Service Provider does not guarantee the App's availability, accuracy, or compatibility with all devices.
- You accept responsibility for mobile data charges if using the App outside Wi-Fi areas.
